Houses

To rent out a house in Rome is easy. The real problem is the cost. During the Jubilee it was especially expensive, the landlords took advantage of it. Housing close to the subway is especially expensive.
To buy a house in Rome is approx. $90,000.00. To lease is approx. $500.00 a month. As far as the style of the houses, Rome is a metropolis with about 3,000,000 inhabitants and a density of 267 abitanti/kmqs. Therefore, the large majority of the Romans live in apartment buildings. In addition, there are residential areas and even large villas with swimming pools.
